Dr. Middleton’s interest in dentistry was sparked when he started shadowing dentists, watching them operate, and obtaining a deeper understanding of the field. His biggest influence was a college friend of his who he continually worked with in a college lab learning about the ins and outs of dentistry. From there, he decided to go for it and hasn’t looked back since.
Dr. Middleton graduated from the University of Texas-San Antonio in 2013. He went on to further his knowledge and experience and is now eager to share his newly owned dental practice. Purchased over a year ago, Silsbee Smiles is a comprehensive dental office serving the community of Silsbee and surrounding areas. Dr. Middleton focuses on providing a positive dental experience for patients, both young and old. He consistently exceeds patients’ expectations every day, ensuring they walk out of his office with optimal oral health every time.

Dr. Ehson Zare was born and raised in Silsbee, Texas, and is proud to serve the community that shaped him. He graduated from Silsbee High School, where he played football and met his high school sweetheart, Whitney. These early experiences helped instill in him a strong appreciation for teamwork, dedication, and serving others.
From an early age, Dr. Zare knew he wanted to pursue a career in dentistry and give back to his hometown through compassionate, high-quality care — a goal he even wrote about in a first-grade memory book. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Lamar University in 2020. During his time there, Dr. Zare participated in research and co-authored two scientific publications exploring the connection between periodontal disease and Alzheimer’s disease.
Dr. Zare earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2025. He holds his faith, family, and profession in the highest regard and is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Outside of the office, Dr. Zare enjoys spending time with his wife, Whitney, and their newborn son, Micah, who recently joined their family. Becoming a father has deepened Dr. Zare’s passion for caring for families and helping patients of all ages achieve lifelong oral health.
